Arts Learning Forum

Together with Joshua Wright, Kath was Co-Producer of the inuagural Arts Learning Forum for the Australia Council for the Arts at Footscray Community Arts Centre, 25-27 November 2015.

The Arts Learning Forum was a sold-out event that brought together two hundred odd arts professionals with a role or interest in arts education, learning or engagement across all art forms, ages and communities for the first time in a national context. Delegates exchanged insights, practices and creative ideas were inspired by Australian and international leaders including featured speakers Katherine Zeserson (UK), Anna Cutler Director of Learning from the Tate in London, and Deborah Cheetham Artistic Director of Short Black Opera Company, and the talents of over 60 contributing speakers, workshop leaders, panellists, provocateurs and a Twitter Poet-in-Residence. The Forum included workshops, rapid-fire pecha kucha-style sessions, panels discussions, and open space facilitation led by Professor Judith McLean (QUT) and Keith Greaves.

Together with the Australia Council for the Arts, Joshua and Kath had key leadership in all aspects of the event design and delivery including programming, with advice from a national reference committee.
